Family Law Mediator

Mary E. Ramos has years of experience mediating difficult family law issues. A great majority of the cases are solved during mediation. However, for the remaining few only a subset of issues are taken before the court. Consequently, when issues are solved during mediation the total cost of the divorce is greatly reduced for both parties.

Mediation

Mediation is a process that involves a trained mediator who encourages both sides to discuss problem areas and helps you work together to find mutually acceptable solutions.  Mediation is an opportunity for parties to communicate and resolve claims and disputes in a nuetral, open, safe and friendly setting. Through communication, the parties can resolve most, if not all issues between them. As for the mediators, they are not in the business of taking sides, rather they are there to aid both sides in finding a common ground that works for everyone.

Mediation Tip

Once the decision to divorce has been made, it benefits both parties to treat this as a business transcation. Remember both party control weather the total cost of the divorce is a few hundred thousand dollars or ten to twenty thousand.
