Julie R. Rosete
Senior Associate Attorney
Divorce & Family law Attorney
Julie Rosete is a well-seasoned divorce and family law attorney who brings 15 years of experience and well-tuned litigation skills. She served as an Associate Attorney for our firm and trained under Mary E. Ramos between June 2014 and July 2018. After a short stay with another firm, she has decided to return home to her RLG family.
Julie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000 and earned her law degree from Boston University School of Law in 2005. During her first year of law school, she was a G. Joseph Tauro Scholar. In 2015, she completed the 55-hour National Family Law Trial Institute training.
Julie has exceptional skills in legal writing, research, and negotiating settlements for her clients. She has a background in civil, criminal, and juvenile legal matters. Attorney Rosete is also proficient in Spanish. Her negotiating skills have resulted in favorable settlements for final orders in her family law cases. She is a fierce advocate for all of her clients and is excellent at evaluating cases to provide clients with the best legal advice.
Julie has experience handling contested hearings, trials, and mediations for her clients and works hard to marshal the evidence in the most favorable light for her clients. Additionally, Julie is licensed in Guam, where she clerked for the Supreme Court of Guam and practiced in federal and local courts, including handling a months-long criminal jury trial where a client was acquitted. Since returning to the Houston area in 2013, Julie has exclusively practiced divorce and family law.
Julie offers clients knowledgeable and competent legal advice with the following family law goals:
- Educate the client about the law and court procedures
- Explore options and create solutions
- Encourage settlements through competent negotiation and mediation
- Maintain reasonable fees and control litigation costs
- Exhaust all reasonable alternatives, but when all else fails, to fight aggressively when necessary to protect the clients’ rights
During her previous time at the Ramos Law Group, Julie consistently received rave reviews from clients. She works diligently to protect client interests and obtain the best results possible. We are very excited to welcome Julie back to the fold.
