Consultation Agreement [Updated – 2018]
As a service to our potential clients, the Ramos Law Group, PLLC provides two options for scheduling an initial consultation with an Associate Attorney:
Option 1: For all cases in which client makes prepayment, a 60-minute consultation is offered at a reduced rate of $150.00. After the initial 60-minute consultation, a $125.00 flat fee is assessed for every 30-minute period thereafter.
Option 2: Alternatively, for all cases in which client chooses to pay on the day of the appointment, an initial 30-minute consultation is offered at a reduced rate of $100.00. After the initial 30-minute consultation, a $125.00 flat fee is assessed for every 30-minute period thereafter.
To schedule an initial consultation with the Founding Attorney, Partners, or Of Counsels:
Initial consultations are offered at their standard hourly rate with a minimum of one hour prepaid and any additional time is billed in 12-minute increments at their standard rate.
We highly recommend that you fill out the consultation form before meeting with a family lawyer from the Ramos Law Group in Houston. How Do I Prepare for the Consultation?
Consider preparing a list of questions to discuss with the attorney, in order to ensure that the issues most important to you are addressed. Be prepared to discuss the details of your case, as well your desired outcomes. Please have all court documents with you, if applicable. Feel free to bring a notebook to take notes on the plan of action you will develop with the Houston family lawyer. Set aside enough time, so that you do not have to rush through the consult, and are able to be calm and focused. Being timely and prepared helps you receive the most information during your initial consultation.
Consultations are scheduled directly before, after, or between the court settings of the Ramos Law Group attorneys. If for any reason, you are running late or cannot make the appointment, please advise us ahead of time. Consultations (Regular Business Hours)
Consultations with a Ramos Law Group lawyers in Houston are by appointment only and are conducted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 P.M. If you are not able to attend the consultation, please provide an advanced 48 business hour notice to avoid loss of consultation fee. See Refund and Reschedule Policy for more details.
Consultations (After Hours & Weekend)
Evening and weekend divorce appointments are available with advanced scheduling and require prepayment of one hour with Mary E. Ramos Only. If you are not able to attend your after-hours or weekend consultation please provide an advanced 48 business hour notice to avoid loss of consultation fee. Refunds are only issued for cancellations received more than 48 business hours before the scheduled appointment. Consultations will be limited to one reschedule and the request must be submitted 48 business hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
